Robert Lang on perserverance

A few days ago, probably as I was struggling through my own obstacles, Bob Lang at Popular Woodworking was working through his own, which he wrote up here.  As Lang says, “The nice sounding word for what you need is perseverance. The honest word is stubbornness.” 

Perserverance is a good word for it (one I hear a lot in the context of my seven-year-old’s education).  What I like about it as a concept (in the contexts of productivity and creativity) is the understanding that at the end of the challenge lies the payoff.
